The two pinots – pinot gris and pinot noir – are really coming into their own in Central Otago. This is a great example of a beautiful Otago gris. Medium straw in colour with aromatics of nashi pear, peaches, lemon cake and white flowers. On the palate it has a slight sweetness with good weight. The finish is long with spicy and zesty subtleties. A very nicely weighted wine.
People who love pinot gris will love this. Complex and a good price at around $26. The 2012 vintage may have now rolled over to 2013.
This wine is made without use of animal products.
