In the glass, this vegan wine is a deep garnet red. It has a great deal of complexity, covering the three important flavours of a pinot noir (fruit, spice and earth). It has notes of American cherry pie, cloves, white truffle and toffee. A nice initial acid is followed by an opulent body and velvety tannins. This is a great wine and excellent value at around $44 a bottle.
A wine for lovers of Central Otago pinot, especially those with added complexity.
